Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, the 11th day of May 2010 at the

designated polling places in Knox County election precincts, an election

will be held for nominating, or in some cases, electing candidates to the

Shall Orchard Rural Fire Protection District be allowed to levy a property tax not to exceed 20 cents per one hundred dollars of taxable valuation of property in excess of the limits prescribed by law for the fiscal year 2010 and including also fiscal years of 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, for the purpose of general operation and to increase the restricted funds base by 15% over the allowable growth percentages?     For      Against

The polls will open at 8:00 A.M. and close at 8:00 P.M.  The Primary Election will be for nominating, or in some cases, electing candidates to various offices.  The Secretary of State will publish a true copy of the title and text of any amendments or referendums once each week for three consecutive weeks preceding the election.
